All sales are final and no refund will be issued.
SHIPPING:
You will be charged a $5 handling fee at checkout. Shipping is handled directly by the artist and will be arranged after purchase. You will receive an email with further details once the transaction is completed.
The Company (Artist Websites, operated by Susan Hunter Guise, also known as Susan Guise-Bagley), hereinafter referred to as “The Company”, facilitates communication between the buyer and the artist regarding shipping. While we advise artists on proper packaging and encourage the purchase of shipping insurance to protect against loss or damage, The Company does not assume liability for any shipment before or after it has left the artist’s location.
Shipping Responsibilities
The Artist's Responsibility: The artist is responsible for packaging your shipment securely to minimize the risk of damage during transit. The artist is advised to purchase insurance to cover loss or damage caused by the carrier.
The Buyer’s Responsibility: You are responsible for tracking your shipment from the artist’s location to your delivery address. Any visible damage to the package upon receipt must be reported directly to the carrier at the time of delivery. If a shipment is lost or damaged, you must submit a written claim to The Company at susan@artistwebsites.ca within seven (7) days of delivery or the expected delivery date. We will coordinate with the artist to address your claim.
Limitations of Liability
The Company is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to:
Extreme weather events
Natural disasters (e.g., landslides, floods)
Strikes (e.g., postal workers, customs officers)
Acts of government or customs clearance delays.
The Company is not liable for technical issues or platform changes imposed by third-party services that host our websites.
Claims and Replacements
All claims related to shipping (e.g., loss or damage) must be submitted in writing to susan@artistwebsites.ca within seven (7) days of delivery or the expected delivery date. We will work with the artist to resolve claims and expedite replacement shipments when applicable. However, the ultimate responsibility for arranging a replacement lies with the artist.
Terms of Agreement
This Shipping Policy, in conjunction with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer, constitutes the entire agreement regarding the use of artistwebsites.ca.
